Job Overview

The Investor Relations Manager will have responsibilities to help communicate company’s investment thesis for external and internal stakeholders. This position will execute internal and external tasks related to quarterly earnings, investor road shows, and ad-hoc investor and management meetings. This individual would engage with analysts while assisting in developing and executing a strategic approach to increasing analyst coverage and expanding our shareholder base. This individual should develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations, financial performance, and strategies through regular interactions with company executives.


  • Support IR initiatives, including preparation of presentation decks, earnings releases, conference call scripts, management Q&A, and MD&A, as well as setting up quarterly/monthly earnings related meetings.
  • Help craft key messaging for the quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, investor road shows, and one-on-one investor meetings.
  • Conduct analysis and financial modeling in support of the earnings process, including the analysis of company’s and peers’ operating results, industry trends, and analysts estimates.
  • Monitor and analyze published sell-side research reports and earnings estimates to prepare a daily summary for key leadership team.
  • Gather information and insights on the marketplace to help inform leadership team regarding investor sentiment and trading marketplaces dynamics.
  • Develop working relationships with analyst community to help drive engagement interactions.
  • Maintain internal CRM to track contact/outreach with sell-side investors and investors.
  • Maintain understanding of SEC laws and filing requirements to help plan and execute SEC required filings in collaboration with the Finance and Legal teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of company strategy to provide investors with valued insights to the company’s operating performance.
  • Utilizing investor/market insights, collaborate with colleagues throughout the company in helping establish the company’s strategic and operating plans.



  • 2-3 years of experience in financial, accounting, and/or banking functions, preferably with roles that involve written/verbal communication with external parties.
  • Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry preferred



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Masters of Business Administration preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writer; excellent communication and note taking skills
  • Adept at multi-tasking; shows initiative
