Logistics Operator I

Hostess Brands, LLC, is a large packaged food company focused on developing, manufacturing, marketing, selling and distributing fresh baked sweet goods in the United States such as Ding Dongs®, Ho Hos®, Donettes® and Fruit Pies, in addition to Twinkies®, CupCakes, Voortman’s Cookies and Wafers.

Night Shift

Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal), safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain GMP standards. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Maintain receiving/shipping logs and makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition.  Move raw and packaging materials to the production area using the FIFO standard. In addition, the worker maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. Workers are required to lift to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift. 

• Must be able to operate a Forklift in a safe manner.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Receive material.
• Maintain receiving and shipping logs.
• Moving material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Requires high school diploma, or equivalent. Additional post-secondary education is preferred (i.e.: Technical or Vocational education) in areas of material handling, warehouse, distribution, packaging, etc.
• Must pass Forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment is preferred.
• The employee must have the ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, twist, crawl, climb stairs/ladders, and be able to lift to a maximum of 50 pounds. 
• Reading, writing, seeing, hearing, communicating, adding, subtracting and understanding instructions.
